University Women’s Specialty Center is a comprehensive women’s medical practice that specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Prenatal Diagnostics and Diabetes in Pregnancy. The University Women’s Specialty Center is located in an area with the highest neonatal standard mortality ratio in the state, according to 2003 statistics from the Maternal-Child Health Branch of the California Department of Health. Conrad Chao, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine and the OB/GYN residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He served his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Physiology at Loma Linda University and Oregon Health Sciences University. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal & Fetal Medicine.

Brian Morgan, M.D., specializes in Perinatology (Maternal-Fetal Medicine). Dr. Morgan earned his BSc, MSc and PhD at the University of London. He obtained his MD from the University of Miami Medical School where he also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. After completing his residency, Dr. Morgan completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Morgan’s medical interests include fetal programming and its effects on genomics.
