Tulsi Sharma, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.

Dr. Sharma earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She then completed an ophthalmology residence with Maulana Azad Medical College. Dr. Sharma then completed a residency in internal medicine with Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She then stayed in Syracuse to complete a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.

Dr. Sharma has presented nationally and internationally on various topics, including new technology in diabetes management, resistance to thyroid hormones versus central hyperthyroidism, and the mystery of high calcium. She is also an active member of the medical community as a member of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, and Obesity Medicine Association.
