Muhammad Baraa Hammami, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in gastroenterology and hepatology.

Dr. Hammami began his educational career at Jordan University of Science & Technology in Irbid, Jordan. There he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and completed an internal medicine internship. Dr. Hammami then completed an additional internal medicine internship at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. He also completed his internal medicine residency and later became a chief resident during his time at Florida Atlantic University.

To further help care for his patients, Dr. Hammami completed fellowships in advanced hepatology, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology. He has also conducted more than 10 research projects and been an author of more than 20 peer reviewed journal articles.
