He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed his medical degree at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He completed is Emergency Medicine Residency at UCSF Fresno working at Community Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Macias is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys soccer, reading, and music.
