Deniz Baysal, M.D., FRCSC, is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Trauma. He specializes in complex fractures, minimally invasive and percutaneous techniques, and hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and revisions.
He received his medical degree and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Alberta. He then went on to finish his fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstruction at UT Southwestern, Dallas Texas at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Deniz Baysal, M.D., FRCSC, has been published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine. He has also spoken at events hosted by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor for UCSF in the UCSF Fresno Orthopaedic Surgery department. As Assistant Clinical Professor, he instructs physicians in the operating room on trauma and joint replacements.
Deniz Baysal, M.D., FRCSC, is a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons & Physicians, and he is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He is an avid hockey fan, and he was a sailing instructor for seven years in Calgary, Canada. He also enjoys hiking, mountain biking, downhill skiing.
