The Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is a renowned academic program that aims to provide treatment for patients while educating the next generation of faculty providers in the Central Valley. The three-year Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship program is fully accredited by the ACGME.

Distinguished applicants apply for the opporotunity to work alongside our faculty providers and participate in the ACGME accredited Fellowship program. Participants in the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship program are provided with comprehensive training in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopic procedures. The experience is truly second to none.

It is our faculty providers’ unique blend of experience and education that allows the future providers of the Central Valley to get first-hand experience of progressive treatment applications and cutting-edge research efforts while honing their individual skills and treatment techniques. Each year two highly-qualified physcians are admitted into the program with the goal of becoming the future leaders of academic medicine.
