UCSF FRESNO COMPREHENSIVE NEUROSURGICAL ADVANCED PRACTITIONER OPPORTUNITY
Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) in collaboration with the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program, Division of Neurosurgery, are actively recruiting Advanced Practitioners to join as a Comprehensive Neurosurgical Advanced Practitioner. Selected candidates will provide both day and night shifts evaluating Neurosurgical patients, participating in Neurosurgical procedures, and working in the Neurocritical Care unit. Our current Neurocritical Care unit is a closed collaborative ICU with patients from both the Neurology and Neurosurgical departments. Advanced Practitioners can expect to work in a comprehensive critical care environment and will be responsible/trained for all critical care procedures; and, join Neuroscience Center’s active academic group of Neurosugeons, Neurointensivists, Neurointerventionalist and Neurologist who serve Central California’s over 3 million patients. The Neuroscience Center is part of an expanding JACHO accredited Stroke Center and American College of Surgeons accredited Level One Trauma Center. The program is located at Community Regional Medical Center, the premier tertiary level referral center in the California Central Valley.
Candidates can have a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner background, with Neurosurgical and Surgical experience preferred. Additionally, research support and mentorship is available to all those who wish to further their academic endeavors.
