UCSF Fresno Family Medicine Program Director
UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are currently recruiting for a family physician at the assistant, associate, or professor level to serve as program director for the UCSF Fresno Family Medicine Residency Program. UCSF Fresno is a regional UCSF campus in Fresno, California, and the candidate will hold a faculty appointment with and be part of the UCSF Department of Family and Community Medicine in San Francisco. The successful candidate must have completed a residency in and be board certified in family medicine, and have a minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience as faculty. Experience as an associate program director or director is welcomed but not required. The candidate must be knowledgeable about ACGME requirements for training in family medicine and either hold a California Medical license or be eligible to obtain a California Medical license. Faculty appointment and academic rank with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant’s background and accomplishments.
Responsibilities of the program director include residency leadership, curriculum development, teaching residents and students, and participation in community practice. The program is based at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California and in partnership with other local area hospital and FQHC partner training sites. Applicants should have an established record of teaching, scholarly activity and clinical excellence.
