Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

The Department of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno is looking to recruit core EM-Pediatric faculty, with the immediate goal of expanding our EM-pediatric teaching. We have a busy ED with 120K patient visits per year, with our pediatric volume making up 10-15% of that each month.

We have a pediatric zone with 5 beds and a dedicated Peds RN for 12 hours a day. We are a Level 1 Trauma Center with a NICU and PICU.

Candidates must have an active California medical license or be eligible to apply for one. Candidates must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and a Peds EM fellowship.

Fresno is uniquely placed within a short drive of both San Francisco (just 3 hours away) and Los Angeles (just 3 ½ hours away), making it easy to enjoy the art, food, and nightlife that both cities have to offer.

Salary: $224,640-$280,800. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation may be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Actual compensation may also vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, and/or productivity.
