Robert L. Calmes, M.D., specializes in neurology. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and American Board of Qualification in EEG.
Dr. Calmes earned his undergraduate degree, medical degree and completed his internship at Baylor University. He completed his neurology residency and neurophysiology fellowship at Jefferson Medical Center. Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Calmes moved to Fresno in 1970 and became Chief of Neurology at Valley Medical Center (University Medical Center, now known as Community Health Center – Cedar Campus). He held the position until 1987. Dr. Calmes is a subinvestigator for the Margolin Brain Institute.
