University Neurology Associates, University Neurosurgery Associates and Community Regional’s Neuroscience Outpatient Rehabilitation Center have joined together in the same office. Their office is on the third floor of the East Medical Plaza located on the Community Regional Medical Center Campus.
The office contains dedicated, comprehensive diagnostic and treatment facilities. It is the first of its kind in the region providing a team of experienced and dedicated physicians, allied health care providers and staff to care for patients at one location. This brings a multidisciplinary approach to the field of neuroscience, ensuring that patients with various neurological diseases and injuries to the spine, nervous system and brain receive the most appropriate course of care in an efficient manner.
University Neurosurgery Associates provides diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system, mainly those affecting the brain and spine. The surgeons and staff are committed to excellence by providing the highest quality of neurosurgical care possible. They are pleased to treat patients with both acute and chronic types of problems. Our neurosurgeons also provide all acute care coverage for Community Regional's Level One Trauma Center.

For some, intolerable neck or arm pain can mean giving up what they love to do and living in agony. See how Sergeant Paul McKinnen made sure that wasn’t the case for him after injuring his neck in Iraq.
Recently, Community Regional Medical Center’s doctors, nurses and technicians began training on a series of brand new tools designed to help “see” inside the brain and the spine. The equipment is part of a multi-million dollar investment to improve the study of neurosciences.
